Testing Services
Testing Services
Tejas is here to provide certainty to the market. One of our two very distinct sides of our business is the testing services we offer. Tejas is equipped with the best technology for prototype testing of downhole solutions. With an established history of testing to API and ISO qualification standards, we can achieve pressures up to 80,000 psi and temperature ranges of 1,000°F to -200°F. The care and precision that goes into our unique testing facility allows us to replicate a variety of conditions downhole. We offer nondestructive testing in which our customers can validate and strengthen their operating parameters.
Confidentiality is a golden standard to Tejas, especially in regard to our quality testing services. Tejas is trusted with each customers’ best kept professional secrets. We both value and protect their information regarding trade secrets and can certify no risk in working with us in terms of private information being disclosed to competitors. Our value in authenticity does not only pertain to the quality of our products but to the regard we have for the trust we have built and continue to uphold.
HPHT Testing
High-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) development is the greatest technological and regulatory challenge facing the oil and gas industry today. Our above ground HPHT bunker is currently capable of testing your equipment to hydrostatic or gas pressures up to 80,000 psi and temperatures ranging from -40 degrees F to +500 degrees F. A key component of testing at Tejas is that all operations are performed inside fortified bunkers and controlled from a safe location inside the main building. The above ground bunkers have 50ft deep wells and can test tools vertically. Remotely controlled digital cameras provide constant visual and audio monitoring/recording inside the bunkers during all testing operations. The testing control system is designed such that the operator is never exposed to hazardous conditions while conducting a test. All high-pressure equipment is contained within the bunker and controlled with easily customized modular air manifolds. Our flexible testing system is unique because it can be quickly modified to accommodate changes in the test procedures. We offer our clients an onsite workspace and meeting rooms for design consultations and testing supervision. Though, it is not required to be onsite to witness a test. Tejas uses Data Acquisition and therefore can stream the test online.
Particle and Flow Erosion Testing for Product Design Validation and Research Testing
Our Particle and Flow Erosion Testing services are designed to support product design validation and research, offering precise data to optimize the performance and durability of your equipment. Aligned with API standards, our testing simulates real-world conditions where particle-laden fluids cause wear and erosion, providing critical insights for industries like oil and gas. Whether you’re developing new components or validating existing designs, our tests assess erosion rates, material integrity, and flow dynamics, helping you refine your products for maximum reliability and longevity. Partner with us to ensure your designs meet rigorous industry standards and withstand the harshest operational environments.
Sand Slurry
Our sand slurry testing services provide essential insights into how sand-laden fluids will behave in your drilling and production operations. Using advanced testing methods aligned with API standards, we evaluate sand content, erosion potential, and the efficiency of sand separation systems to help you optimize equipment performance and reduce wear and tear. Our comprehensive tests simulate real-world conditions, giving you critical data to prevent formation damage, improve fluid compatibility, and ensure the reliability of your operations in sand-prone environments. Trust our expertise to help you manage the challenges of sand production and maintain operational efficiency.
