The FlowGARD™ series Surface Controlled Subsurface Safety Valves (SCSSV) are wireline retrievable and operated with a hydraulic control panel at surface and tied to an emergency shutdown (ESD) system. Tejas’ FlowGARD™ SCSSV’s have demonstrated exceptional field performance and are available for 3 applications: The standard FlowGARD™ up to 2,000 ft, the FlowGARD-HS™ up to 5,000 ft and the FlowGARD-DS™ up to 15,000ft.

After shut-ins, the integrated self-equalizing design facilitates a rapid return to production, reducing operational downtime. The FlowGARD™ is tested and certified to API-14A-Grade V1 and manufactured in accordance with API-Q1 and ISO-9001:2015 standards. Materials selection options are based on NACE MR-0175 compliance.

The FlowGARD series also includes the FlowGARD-HS (heavy sprung) and FlowGARD-DS (deep set). The FlowGARD-HS is designed for a setting application in which the heavy spring mechanism can work against the force of the higher pressure in deeper settings. The FlowGARD-DS is certified deep set in setting depth of up to 15,000ft.
