Since the Merla® brand was first registered in 1937, products by the Merla® Tool Company were rugged, reliable, and manufactured to the highest quality standards possible. Now the original Merla® brand Surface Flow Control Valves are the latest addition to Tejas’ product offerings.

Use our Flow Com® software to assist in sizing and troubleshooting valve applications.

FCV™ Series –
Stem and seat type Flow Control Valves are excellent for controlling gas injection in gas lift mandrels, small water flood projects, or any similar type application


ACV™ Series –
Large stem and seat type Adjustable Choke Valves are used as wellhead production chokes or in water or gas injection and thermal recovery applications. Ported Cage trims combat cavitation, erosion, and noise where mono and multiphase high flow rates and differentials are encountered


Positive In-Line Chokes –
Fixed in-line flow restrictions designed for bi-directional flow. Used primarily in gas storage applications

Electric Rotary Actuator Series –
Electrically driven rotary motors that are directly coupled to either FCV or ACV series valves. These actuators are controlled by digital pulse duration or analog signals transmitted from a remote location and will provide precise control of the flow


MV 60™ Valve Series –
Pressure actuated snap or throttling, linear open or close type valves that are economical high pressure regulators, dump valves, or time cycle controllers for intermittent gas lift applications
